Blog of a Teenage Superhero Synopsis

“Who are you?” the supervillain asks, his breathless voice surprisingly soft. I slam my hands on either side of him, leaning in so close my nose touches his mask. I’m the taller one.

“It’s ‘Please Don’t Kick My…'”

“…Ass!” he finishes with a wry smile, despite the dire situation. His eyes gleam with a mixture of surprise and amusement, as if he’s impressed by my audacity.

I pause, caught off guard by his unexpected response. “You’re not like the others,” I mutter, unable to hide my curiosity.

“And you’re not like any hero I’ve faced,” he counters, his tone tinged with respect. “What’s your game, kid?”

I straighten up, folding my arms defiantly. “Saving the city from people like you,” I retort, my voice tinged with determination.

He chuckles softly, shaking his head. “You’ve got spirit, I’ll give you that.”

“Enough to stop you,” I challenge, narrowing my eyes.

He studies me for a moment, then nods slowly. “Maybe. But not today.”

Before I can react, he presses a hidden button on his suit, triggering a smokescreen that engulfs us both. When the smoke clears, he’s vanished, leaving me standing alone in the dark alley, heart racing with adrenaline and a newfound sense of respect for my adversary.
